  1. How do you make cottage cheese pancakes? Do you just replace the milk with cc?

  2. Sorry it took me a few days to get back, I'm not used to having readers LOL.

    2 eggs
    1 cup cottage cheese
    1 cup flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 T sugar

Mix eggs & cheese and add the remaining ingredients. Fry in oil. Very yummy & quick supper.

  3. Thanks, I'll try them next time I have cottage cheese. I don't buy it any more (unless there's a great sale), but apparently it's really easy to make, so when I get around to making some cottage cheese, I'll make some pancakes! :)

  4. Let me know how you like them. They taste different from regular ones. Cottage cheese is a staple around here.

  5. Chinese cabbage salad

    Can you share your recipe?

I like reading your meal plans! Thanks for sharing.

You eat Israeli style/time wise. The main meal earlier.

Can I ask what time is your family eating it's meals?

    Thanks!

  6. Yes, we eat Israeli style. Dh works at a Yeshiva, so he also gets his main meal at work and doesn't want something heavy at night. Sometimes he eats lunch leftovers at supper time.

The kids eat breakfast around 6:30, aruchat eser (in gan) at 10ish, lunch at 2 and supper around 5.

Chineese cabbage salad, easy as pie! Chop up the cabbage, mix dressing (by taste, but oil, soy sauce, sugar. I think the original recipe called for 1/3 of each, but I use a bit less sugar). If my MIL kindy brought some, I sprinkle pine nuts over. If not they are out of my budget :D. You can also slice some red onion in.
